Project Initiation And Needs Refinement
Based on Uzbekistan's local climate conditions and agricultural development plans, the client proposed the construction of a 10,368 ㎡ multi-span film greenhouse in early 2017. Our project team responded quickly, conducting in-depth analysis of the local environmental characteristics, including high summer temperatures, intense sunlight, large winter temperature differences, and sandstorms, through a combination of online meetings and on-site data collection.
Both parties engaged in multiple rounds of detailed communication regarding core technical requirements such as the greenhouse's overall layout, structural strength, film performance, irrigation system, and environmental control solutions, ultimately finalizing a fully customized technical specification in mid-2017.
Scheme Design and Contract Execution
Based on the defined requirements, our engineering team completed the complete structural design and system integration scheme in the third quarter of 2017, including wind and snow load calculations, multi-span drainage design, and energy-saving environmental control strategies, and provided detailed installation drawings and construction guidelines. After the scheme received formal confirmation from the client, both parties signed a general contracting agreement. The client paid the project advance payment as agreed, and the project subsequently entered the raw material procurement and modular production phase.
Production and Construction
In November 2017, the project entered the critical production and on-site construction phase.
We selected internationally standardized professional greenhouse film and high-strength galvanized steel structures, and the production process was strictly implemented according to the quality management system.
After all components were produced, we planned an efficient international land transportation logistics solution to ensure that all materials arrived safely and on time at the project site in Uzbekistan. Concurrently, on-site foundation engineering and main structure installation work commenced comprehensively.
Our technical supervisors, through a combination of remote coordination and on-site guidance, worked closely with the local construction team to ensure the precise installation of the large multi-span structure and the smooth integration of various systems.
Completion and Continued Value
The project successfully passed completion acceptance in early 2018, and a large-scale, standardized multi-span film greenhouse was fully operational.
Since construction began in the winter of 2017, the greenhouse has withstood the test of time and operated stably, effectively helping the client achieve year-round, standardized crop production, and significantly improving water resource utilization efficiency and land productivity. The client expressed high satisfaction with the project results, believing that the facility has laid a solid modern foundation for their agricultural business. The success of this project, especially its efficient completion under complex climatic conditions in 2017, has established a strong brand reputation and served as a model case for our company in the Uzbekistan and Central Asian markets.
